The photoshoot for the Execution of Module 1

For our final stage of the big idea we had to produce the execution, fir this we were set a task to produce our own photoshoot for an accessory in the style of a previous photoshoot that had been done in Vogue Magazine.
My group was given Jewellery as the accessory and we were given the shoot 'Game, Set, Match' photographed by Craig McDean which appeared in the March 2016 Vogue editorial. When we were given the shoot we had to look through it and pick out some words that we thought best described the shoot which I spoken about in the blog post about Craig McDean.
As a group we had to discuss, plan and prep everything we would need to be able to make the shoot work and produce exactly what we wanted to produce this meant everyone coming together and contributing towards the output. We all had to dig out materials, clothing, Jewellery, shapes, props and much more to produce a photoshoot that we thought would fit the criteria we were given and come together with ideas.

On Saturday we done the shoot as a group and we honestly had a fun day taking part as a team doing weird things in the middle of Nottingham that we would not usually do. We first met up at Izzy's flat and done some of the shots we had planned to take which was the earrings on the shoulder of a floral jumper as well as some of the photos wearing the necklaces under our tops these were based around our words surrealism and floral.

When we were together we started doing random things such as putting so many rings on a odd shaped plant which we thought worked really well therefore this became a new idea in our collection of photographs. This happened on a few occasions where ideas popped up so we gave it a try to see what would come out of it, which seemed to work in our favour and give us more to work with and choose from. Later on that day we went to shoot where our street style word would come from, this was at Rock City where there was a graffiti area which myself and Izzy stood in front of wearing all of our jewellery and street styled clothing. It was so cold and embarrassing as people were walking past and looking at us like we were crazy, but yet so funny as it was something so strange to be doing on a Saturday afternoon. The next location was the funniest as we went into the middle of Nottingham and dressed up the Brian Clough Statue in front of so many people who must have been well and truly confused and all we could do was laugh at how mad and creative we decided to be.
