Freshers Week

Freshers week, what a boozy, eventful yet over rated week of spontaneous fun thousands of students take part in every year soon to be hit with that dreaded freshers flu that will never really go away.

Getting to uni we were all buzzing to start our uni life with a solid week of partying and drinking, making new friends and many if us not having our parents around to tell us what we could and couldn't do. first night of freshers was so memorable sitting around our new kitchen table as a 6 getting to know one another by playing a range of different games that involved alcohol not knowing where the night would end up.

For me I ended up being very drunk with my new friend Amy who threw up all over the bus with me sat by her side helping her for the rest of the night whilst she tactical chundered, from that night on we became best friends finding out we were practically the same person in 2 different bodies and have been best pals since.

The freshers reps carried on creating an amazing week for all of us by continuing to make sure we were out every night making the most amazing memories, introducing us to different flats in our accommodation and settling us in. this made every student more relaxed and more willing to get involved in the craziness by dressing up in different themes every night one of them even being the theme of space which was funny to be involved in.

by the end of the week everyone was shattered, hungover and had huge visible bags under their eyes but to be honest it was worth it however before i came to uni so many people bigged up freshers week i was expecting so much more which is why I personally find it a little over rated as i have enjoyed nights out more since freshers week has been finished.
