ASAP Rocky for Dior

The rapper that can pull off just about any fashion trend that exists is now the face of Dior for the FW16 campaign. Is this the right decision for them or not?

It’s an known fact that A$AP Rocky is one of THE most  fashionable men in hip-hop. His personal aesthetic is proof enough, but lately A$AP has gone and got himself right inside of the fashion industry having just been announced as one of the faces for Dior’s FW16 campaign.

Rocky is one of four creatives highlighted for Dior’s latest campaign and is rocking several looks from the upcoming collection which many can not wait to see, the most eye catching look being a scarlet trench coat and a pair of Dior’s signature eyewear. While some may find him to be an odd fit for a brand like Dior, the label put it best in the campaign by pointing out how Rocky “embodies the empowered masculinity of today’s urban dandy.”
